Queen of the Damned: Jester's Dance
A downloadable game for Windows
This game contains imagery and humor that is intended for mature audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.
Queen of the Damned: Jester's Dance is a quirky and casual FMV card game experience. This amusing card game combines strategy and humor in a unique blend that will keep you entertained—at least for a little while!
There are vampires, but it's not too serious, not so scary, not very bloody, and not particularly vampy when you think about it. But there are vampires around you, so be mindful!
Oh, and there's this card game that you play to progress, but it's pretty chill and shouldn't be too much of an issue. You beat opponents at card battles to get more cards for your library to move on to other opponents. Simple. And some opponents even have some juicy info to share if you're into that sort of thing.
You may notice the characters are often exaggerated in shape and size. While it features voluptuous fantasy women in skimpy outfits, it's a greenhorn comedy at heart. There is no nudity, but there is a ton of skin. And some dancing. But that's it. Oh, and some innuendo. But that's it. Oh, and some more skin! There is enough skin that you may want to be mindful of who is also watching...
You'll meet characters like The Jester, the Daughter, the Traitor, and the Vixen, who slowly share more about your cryptic world. I think they do, anyway. As you progress through the game, you may uncover hidden secrets that may leave you with more questions than answers. Intrigue and unresolved plot points are part of the charm, I assume!
Misc. Notes
- This game plays best on a gamepad. It works fine on a keyboard. Mouse input is not supported for the card game, however. (sadly)
- The game has a lot of unfinished bits.
- The tutorials are not properly finished. My bad. If you want better information on gameplay mechanics, look up Triple Triad, and you should find plenty of good resources online.
- This game and its videos were initially targeted for 1080p. However, the videos have been reencoded for 720p due to their size. If there is interest, I could provide the higher-resolution versions at some point.
- Game is designed for 1080p but can scale to other resolutions, such as 4K, and works fine at that resolution. *in my limited testing ^_^
- *SPOILER* There are currently only 2 "random" realms. More were planned and in development. Depending on interest, I may update this game later.
Known Issues
- Mouse can’t be used for the card game - No Fix Available at this time.
- Some card descriptions run long and can’t be read when you have cards in your hand. To read the full description, you must remove cards from your hand. - Won’t Fix
- In some cases, summaries are overlayed on top of images. I have an idea how to fix this, but it is a low priority.
- You can’t change audio levels mid-game. I'm sorry; it was an oversight on my part. There is no current solution.
- There is some occasional body horror (i.e., people with extra fingers, odd bends, etc.) or strange visual effects during some sequences. This approach to story-telling is new to me, but I also had to limit how many times I would attempt to recreate scenes. Due to this, some occasionally odd bodywork is on display. It is not that common, but well known. I will not fix these issues but avoid the same mistakes in future projects(hopefully, ^_^). Thanks for understanding.
System Requirements
Tested on a 10-year-old Intel Core i5-4202Y @ 1.60 GHZ, 4 GB of RAM, and Windows 10 22h2 using Intel HD Graphics (Tablet PC).
It works well enough.
If you have better hardware, the experience should be fantastic.

The game stutters a lot, also it loses textures, any advice on how i can fix this?
11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400H @ 2.70GHz 2.69 GHz
Thanks for giving it a try. Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions. The engine sometimes gives people issues, but I haven't had any problems myself. I'm just curious: Which OS are you using?
And when you say it loses textures, what do you mean? Do the videos not play, or are you missing assets during the card game?
windows 11, thought that might have been a reason
it seemed like right after the intro the resolution dropped real bad
OK, i forgot to try it on my windows 11 machine. I tested it on my oldest working PC, forgot to try it on windows 11. I'll give it a spin later and see if I have the same issue. Thanks for the info.
What resolution are you playing at?
1920 x 1080
Thx again. I tried the latest build on my Win11 machine, and it works as expected.
If you have third-party overlays, you may want to try disabling them, as they may sometimes not interact well.
